Publisher: J.M. Dent & Co., 1901. 8 volumes bound in green leather over thin boards with titles and decorations in gilt on the spines, and gilt vignette on the top boards. Good condition in worn bindings, with fading, some areas of loss and occasional marks tot he leather (please see the photos). The titles are bound in two volumes each, with Wuthering Heights and Agnes Grey being, as usual, presented together (perhaps so that the damage wrought by the first may be ameliorated by the second). Each volume has two ownership inscriptions on the first blank page, and is illustrated with an engraved frontispiece. Pocket sized volumes, 15cm, 6 inches, tall. Uncommon, especially in this binding.
